I’m Emily, an Irish born, Welsh speaking first time mum who talks with a cockney accent. I’ve lived in Cardiff for over a decade, after venturing to the big city to pursue my four year degree in classical music at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
Being far too laid back for the competitive orchestral industry, I ventured into hospitality, where I worked my way up from plate smashing and spilling gravy in the crotches of married men, to managing teams, and mingling with the stars at the Sherman Theatre.
Having a baby changed my life. I wanted to spend as much time with my little Ivy as I possibly could, and decided to leave my job and delve into the hustle & bustle of Social Media & Marketing. Two years later, and I’ve worked with an incredible variety of clients, providing everything from social media management, to press work, launch events, communications and more.
Besides living in coffee shops on my laptop, I’m usually found running around after a hilarious 2 year old. I can also be found in the gym, squatting, dead-lifting and sweating out my Prosecco hangovers – or in an MMA training session with my legs wrapped around an ex pro fighter.
All whilst wearing lipstick, obviously.
